Hi! I’m Nadaira Walsh and I’m currently training to become a certified Labour, Birth, and Postpartum Doula. I live in St. John’s, NL with my husband and our 2 year old son, plus a dog, cat, and hedgehog!

I decided to become a doula because of my own birth experience. I had an uneventful pregnancy but experienced a traumatic birth. I wish I knew more about doulas and the services they can provide.

I believe if I had the support of a person that had birth knowledge, someone to reassure me, and someone I could speak honestly with, it would have made a world of a difference. That experience has lead me down this road and becoming a doula is something I’ve grown more passionate about as time has progressed.
