What is a Doula?
A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support to pregnant people and their family before, during, and after childbirth.
As a doula, my goal is to help you achieve the most positive birth experience you can. No two births are the same and there is little predictability involved. I will help you navigate this amazing journey with confidence and unwavering support.

I have a partner, why would I need a doula?
A doula does not replace a support partner, but compliments them. Your partner is likely experiencing all the same feelings you are. I am here to guide and support both of you into parenthood.
Doulas do not:
Perform medical task such as checking fetal heart rate or vaginal exams
Decide your birth plan or make medical decisions for you
Speak on your behalf to medical staff, although I do help facilitate these discussions
