Postpartum Doula

You don’t have to use me as a birth doula to take advantage of my postpartum support! Contact me for a free consult.

I provide support through the way of guidance, education, and information to families during the postpartum period. My services are tailored to your family’s needs and may include:

• Emotional and physical support during recovery

• Breastfeeding support

• Assistance with newborn care (diapering, bathing, etc.)

• Light housework (general tidying, laundry, etc.)

• Newborn soothing techniques

• Sleep strategies

• Accompany on outings to assist new parents

• Care for newborn and/or other children so parents can rest, shower, etc.

• Assistance in creating a more baby friendly home

• Information regarding postpartum anxiety/depression

• Referral to local resources (lactation consultant, counselling, parenting classes, etc.)

Fee is $30 an hour during the day (7:00 am to 11:00 pm) and $40 an hour during the night (11:00 pm to 7:00 am). Bulk hours are available at a reduced cost.
